Plan Your Visit to the Indiana Farm Equipment and Technology Expo

First mark your calendar for December 13-15 to attend the Indiana Farm Equipment and Technology Expo. The massive exhibit hall will be filled with the latest farm equipment and inputs you will need in 2023. Show hours are from 9am to 4pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and 9am to 3pm on Thursday.

Which day should you attend? That depends on what you are the most interested in; there are different seminars each day of the show. Day 1, Tuesday, December 13, will focus on new technology. Nationally known, Ag Tech commentator Chad Colby will moderate a demonstration of the latest drone technology. Yes, drones will be flown inside the Grand Park facility. Indiana based Intelinair will also demonstrate its revolutionary, automated, crop intelligence technology.

Day 2, Wednesday, December 14, will begin with a free breakfast program sponsored by Unbridled Wealth. Beginning at 8:30am, you can learn about upgrading your financial strategy. In this engaging presentation, you will learn how replace the banking function in your life with your own Privatized Banking Systems. You’ll learn how to create financial freedom and a financial legacy beyond the farm that can last for generations – all while enjoying a free breakfast buffet. Then, at 10am, a series of outlook seminars begin, focusing on the 2023 ag economy, the markets, and the weather.

Day 3, Thursday, December 15, Purdue Extension agronomists, Soybean Specialist Shaun Casteel and Corn Specialist Dan Quinn, will present a program with planting and production tips for the 2023 crop. A program on cover crops and soil fertility will also be presented. A special program dealing with land ownership issues for women will be held.

Considering a career in agriculture? Many Indiana agribusinesses have immediate, high-paying openings. An Ag Career Fair will be held on Thursday, December 15, beginning at 9am at the Expo. Come and learn what careers are available in agriculture from Indiana companies that will have representatives to talk with in a special room just off the Expo show floor.

Admission, parking, and all Expo activities are free. The Expo presents a relaxed and informal atmosphere with free coffee, wide aisles, and food options. Spend the day looking, learning, and socializing with fellow farmers and friends. The Westfield area offers many hotel and entertainment options along with some great holiday shopping opportunities, so bring the family.
